Accommodation : Dream Mountain Resort is a family hotel in Joshimath located in the outskirts of the town on the Auli road, about 2km from the market. The well known ski-slopes of Auli are a further 10km from the resort. There are two types of accommodation in the resort- Deluxe rooms and Swiss Tents. In short, the Deluxe rooms are traditional brick & mortar constructions while the Swiss tents are made of heavy canvas draped on metal framework.

The resort is ideally located to cater to tourist traffic for both Badrinath and Auli. Badrinath temple-town is around 50km from the resort and guests are able to comfortably leave for Badrinath in the morning and return back well in time in the evening after also visiting Mana, the last village on the border. Auli is just 10km from the resort and guests have the option to reach Auli either by the ropeway(cable-car) or by road. The ropeway takes tourists to the highest point of Auli, while by driving one reaches the lowermost part of Auli.
